Hasharon Institute – Diagnosis, Psychotherapy and Psychiatric Treatment - was founded by Mark Roitman M.D. – certified Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist since 1984
We diagnose and treat clinical conditions such as:
Anxiety and Depression,
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder,
Different Phobias,
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder,
Relationship and Family problems,
Sexual Dysfunction in Men and Women.
The clinic deals with different aspects of Mental Health by using a wide range of therapeutic tools, including Analytic Psychotherapy, Behavior-Cognitive Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Group Psychotherapy, Sex Therapy and Sex Therapy with a Surrogate Partner.
The therapeutic tools best suitable to the client are discussed with him during a two hour initial interview.
Special attention is given to the development of self esteem and self confidence, improvement of interpersonal and romantic skills, team work and leadership skills, ability to deal with success and failure, promotion and job loss, falling in love and separation.
When necessary, we interact with specialists in different areas of Medicine: Family Physicians, Internal Medicine consultants, Cardiologists, Neurologists, Gynecologists, Urologists, Gastroenterologists, Oncologists, and Dermatologists.
We provide psychiatric consultations to Physicians of all professions, Psychologists, Social Workers.

Dr. Mark Roitman graduated from Medical School in 1973 in the Soviet Union, and in 1974 he repatriated to Israel.
1974-1975 – Internship - Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva.
1975-1978 – Medical Officer in IDF
1978-1984 – Resident in Geha Psychiatric Hospital
1984 – Board Examination in Psychiatry (Cum Laude)
1984 – Founded "Hasharon Institute – Diagnosis, Psychotherapy and Psychiatric Treatment"
1984-1987 – Lead psychiatrist in Outpatient Clinic – Geha Psychiatric Hospital
1978-1987 – Consultant Psychiatrist in Belinson and Sharon General Hospitals
1987-1991 – Lead psychiatrist in Herzlia Outpatient Clinic
1997-2005 – Consultant Psychiatrist in Meir General Hospital in Kfar Saba
